actually I always felt something was off about just learning what solvers do and mimicking it, I think deep down I was worried that learning solver lines would somehow detract from my own logic and intuition, so I didn't bother to do it.
but this video was really awesome because what you're saying makes perfect sense and showcases how situational logic and creativity can beat humans using solver lines.
And it also makes me feel like maybe I should study solvers as part of my poker strategy arsenal, but that i can bridge the gap between that and conventional play, getting the best of both worlds
but you shouldn't not do something like calling here because you aren't playing perfectly turn and river. the comparison to make is how you are playing turn and river relative to the opponent, not relative to GTO. you aren't playing like a solver but your opponent isn't either
Just from hearing people talk about it and knowing nothing else it is obvious "the solver" does not take into account important contextual variables. It must average them out in effect. This makes the EV less than it suggests in certain situations
✝️ God loves you. He offers you forgiveness of your sins.
✝️ Repent and believe in the gospel
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Hebrews 9:27-28 NKJV
✝️ The gospel of Jesus Christ
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
I Corinthians 15:3-4 nkjv ✝️
How would it look like if the solver player „perfectly“ on turn and river?
I would have done the same because if bonomo hit that flop he's checking or putting in like 25 percent of his stack but the small 50k bet tells me if I put in 200 or 250 there's only 2 things he's doing there it is jamming or folding that's it ..spot on playing Daniel son…
this is a great example of mixing your game…
The look on Bonomo’s face when you say limpin’ is pimpin’ while raking in the pot.. You can tell he hates it so much. Lol. Good I say, that guy is insufferable.
Great video Daniel. Huge fan here and thanks for the insight into your strategy.
Take what you learn with a grain of soltver.
really interesting idea, damn
