In today’s quick poker tip video Phil discusses his thoughts on which of his simple strategy changes had a huge effect on Joeingram’s Pot Limit Omaha game. Sometimes you hear a simple piece of poker strategy in a training video and it can have an effect on your entire game plan. PLO players have only recently gained access to solvers, so for a long time one of the best ways to get better at the game was to listen to what a great poker player and poker coach like Phil Galfond had to say on a site like Run it Once. Nowadays, of course, we have access to training tools like Run it Once’s Vision and other established poker solvers and can train poker while learning what optimal strategy looks like.

In summary: Phil recommended defending in BB more often. However, some players over-defended. However, defending in BB is good.
Thanks Phil 10/10 advice
