Winning $415,000 with POCKET ACES! [Incredible SLOW PLAY!]

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

The Hustler Casino Live stream last night was wild. Over $2,000,000 on the table and then this hand happens, a crazy $415,000 pot with just a pair of eights!

Andy Stacks is a high stakes cash game player featuring on live streams such as Live At The Bike and Hustler Casino Live. He is well known to be hyper aggressive and someone who will fight for every pot.

This image was likely a deciding factor in Double M’s decision when he was facing a large overbet on the river. Either way, facing a $100,000 bet on the river is not an easy call when you have far from the nuts!

Can Andy find a way to get this huge bluff through or will Double M make an amazing hero call? Watch the video to find out!

Thank you to Hustler Casino Live for allowing me to use this footage, check out this hand and many more on their amazing YouTube channel here:

  1. What is the largest cash game pot that you have ever played? Did you win? 🤑

  2. Also, I love reading the comments here, saying "I would have called, just because andy looked so nervous", first, let's be honest, there is a 1 in 100,000 chance (if not higher) that you'll play this high, this deep stacked. second, poker is MUCH easier when you can see both peoples cards. third, i see you people saying, "oh i would have called" but i see all you same people at the 1/2, 1/3, 2/5 streets making worse folds for much less money. So please stop lying to yourself.

  3. I don’t think I had ever seen Andy so active with his chip stack. Did his nerves get the best of him ? I don’t know how much one should take into consideration Andy knocking down his chips a couple of times though.

  4. Hey coach, have you ever thought of going to turkey for hair transplant, im thinking about that and saw ur hairline. ITs just a thought. Its about 5k usd to get it.

  5. 6:16 Andy gets called on turn, goes to lift arm to lean on but stops himself. Thoughts?

  6. This is a easy call, but in the heat of the moment got to think about hand, tells, etc, carefully slowly to make sure that thought process is right.

It's a easy call because of a COMBINATION of:

    1. Even a good pro, that is capable of bluffing wide, is usually not going to be 4 betting with the TRASH that would fit a straight or 2 pair, on that kind of board.

Yes it's uncommonly possible, but doesn't happen that often, and usually TT, and 88 are the 3 bet, and 3 bet lighter candidates. A low pocket probably calls, even tho occasionally semi bluff 3 bet, it's not that often, so a set is less likely.

    2. The Big River bet is likely at least a semi bluff, or a hand like 66, 99, etc, turned into a semi bluff.

If someone is betting big with a STRONG HAND, it's usually the Turn an or the flop, to both protect hand from draws and to extract value, so a 67k bet on the turn after a flop bet, is less likely to be a bluff then a HUGE OVER POT 150K bet on river.

Yes good pros sometimes bet their STRONG hands EXTREMELY HUGE on river to make people think they are bluffing, but usually it is or can easily be a bluff.

    3. The Q8 player was showing a tell showing his nervousness by fumbling, knocking stack over, etc.

Yes it can be a reverse tell, and yes players with nuts can be nervous too. But given the other factors, it's still a ok sign that the player might be nervous because of a bluff.

    4. Like I said it's a COMBINATION of all these things. 1,2 of these things can be deceptive, wrong, etc, but usually it's extremely hard for all of these things combined together to be wrong, hard for a player to be aware and deceptive enough to be faking, deceiving all of these things combined together at the same time.

It can happen, but is less likely.

Poker is about playing according to tells, player tendencies, betting patterns, and pot odds, and PROBABILITIES, all combined together.

    5. Given all the above, the AA caller only has to call 150k, with 150k left in his stack if wrong, lose, to maybe win 400k.

That is about 2.5 to 1 pot odds.

That mean given all the above, the player only needs to be right about 1 time out of every about 1.75 times to be able to profitably call long term, in this kind of situation, with these kind of factors combined together.

And given that all of the above probably means the Q8 player is probably bluffing because of all the above, and that it's probably right to call with AA about 73+% of the time at minimum, then given the pot odds, and how only need as to be right about 1 time out of about 1.5 times, and since is probably right about 73+% of time, which is higher then the about 1 time out of about 1.5 times he would need at minimum, then because of that this is a SLAM DUNK EASY call over the long term in these kind of situations, because of ALL THESE FACTORS COMBINED TOGETHER.

Doesn't matter the stake level, or how much money, etc.

If the stake level is too high, and too much money, to make this the RIGHT CALL, then your over your head, playing at too high a level, bad bankroll management, etc.

    EASY CALL
