Poker Strategy Info And Source:
This Hand of the Day episode is coming from my reader Jordan. He played this live hand and would like some feedback on his overall cash game poker strategy here. Would you approach this hand the same way? What do you think of his river check raise? Do you agree with his cash game poker strategy here?
Leave me your thoughts in a comment below.

If you liked my style of analysis, check out my premier training products, where I use conceptual based teaching to help you crush it at poker.

Conceptual based learning is the best way to master a concept because instead of memorizing flashcards and formulas (what to do in one isolated situation), I teach you how to understand the deeper fundamentals of poker. You’ll finish the program with confidence that you can sit down in any game and be one of the best players at the table and crush it.

On this channel I regularly analyze some of the biggest hands of poker played on high stakes cash games like Poker Night in America, Live at the Bike, Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker or tournaments like the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour featuring legendary poker players like Doyle Brunson, Tom Dwan, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Ivey, Gus Hanson, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu.
I also pick hands which are sent to me from readers like yourself to give you actual feedback on your specific questions.

Alec thanks for the video. This is why I don't like straddles. To often people feel like they need to "defend" their straddle with marginal hands because they feel priced in. I am no poker pro but to me you just have to let this hand go and kiss the $8 goodbye especially with the big blind calling the raise. I understand BB can be defending wide as well but really there are better spots than A9 off. You are getting what about 2.5:1 on the preflop call. I just don't see it as a good spot.
you are gonna get angle shot people are cunts alec didnt angle that nitbag tool wolf…
this is all great but be sure to have some children to continue to share the knowledge if you dont have any already.
It'd be nice if you put people on ranges throughout the hand, even without having a history. If they are wrong it'll only be the haters that say negative things, and who really cares about them.
Thanks for this. Awesome stuff!
love this guy
Chips up his sleeve
Thanks for the review Alec. I think you can get it done in a few minutes instead of 12 min. I'd like to see 3 or 4 hands in that time period. Great job!
Cool. Hook me up with a free t shirt?
I had him on 56 of spades or K10 of spades. Then again if he had 5/6 of spades he would probably raise the flop big.
