I really appreciate your work, and that you've taken the time to direct your channel to small stakes poker players. I'm by no means a beginner, but it's fun to see this video directed to the market of largest players. I've loved your practical advice, most notably that players in a $1/$2 game need a bankroll of $6,000 to play effectively. (Although I prefer the guy who shows up with $250 and then loses it in an hour…) Thank you!!
One thing I would say. Don't overplay you small pocket pair pre-flop. If there is a substantial raise pre-flop and 2 or 3 callers don't re-raise. Your little pair is not that strong. If you do, however, trip up then you have something and need to protect it.
AA should slowplay. Just because they gonna win over 80% of the hands let the other people to dive into the pot and simply call. Yes, sometimes you lose with AA, but this is just sometimes. Don't be an guy and don't call an allin on a straight board with it, for example.
Great tips, in general. I gotta say though, you seem to give too much credit to fish having hands at tip #2. If they already know you are playing tight, they'll raise you on a 8d 5s 4d board, even if they have nothing. Why? Because they figure you have some two high card combo that missed, and they can represent a pair or better.
