Do you bluff often in your tournaments?? 🤥
I like it
Are these real dollars or just tournament chips?
Cheers. Bit of a sticky one.
I did something similar with A3s and flopped trip 3s 😂
Good job Johnathan 👏
The worst "bluff" that I tried on the river…I was playing short handed in a 1-2 cash game and looked down at KK. I raise pre and he calls. Flop came AAK. He checked, I bet, he called. I tried to size my bet as such to be able to get all the money in on the river. Turn was a 2. He checked, I bet, he called. At this point, I'm fairly certain that he has a random A-rag hand, hoping he doesn't have A2. River card….. another 2. Ugh. He checked. I knew without a doubt that I was beat by his Ace-rag hand, but I also knew the ONLY way to win the sizable pot was to bluff at it. So, I shoved, but at this point my shove was slightly less than half the pot due to the way I had sized my bets. He almost mucked, saying, "I just know you have AK and have me crushed." At the last seconds, he said, "there's just too much money in the pot" and he called with his A7.
I know the feeling. Definitely an odds spot and a player read.
As played think it's great given range advantage….bar the river bet….not awfull either, just not sure what I'm folding for 3-1 pot odds on the river if villain?……shouldn't fold a boat or a flush….likely A-9 or so
