@janemary420 shut up you noob
This doesn't make sense, because you don't know what pocket cards your opponent has.
why AJ suited are more favourite against 4's, than A K???????????
@Chitzakc hahahhhahahahahha
you got it all
@epsilos You have the same chance of getting a straight or higher pair than pocket 4's with both AJ suited and AK of suit however AJ Suited has a better chance at a flush
@epsilos
Because AJ connects with a lower or higher straight.
AK only connects to the high straight
so can i make a flush with Ace clubs and 4 hearts? and will a straight beat it? I'm confused :s
@Chitzakc prophetic!
how is 10-J suited better than A-K off suit ? I dont get it…can someone clarify ? Thanks
You can't say JTs is better than AKo. He's only saying its a favorite against a small pair if all the money somehow got in preflop.
We are dealing w non linear hierarchies here like rock paper and scissors.
44>AK>JTs>44 in this regard.
Not that the information is particularly useful but the reason JTs is a favorite over 44 where AKo is not is because both unpaired hands are equally likely to make a pair that beats the 44 and the JTs hand makes a few more straights and a lot more flushes than AKo by the river.
There's not a lot of practical poker application to this understanding but it does hint at a broader and more useful truth that non-linear hierarchies exist in poker.
If you came to this video by way of looking for a quiz to test your poker knowledge and maybe learn something in the process, I would really suggest you take a look at one of my quizzes.
Navonod on NLH poker quiz part one, section 1-3, section 4, and I even think I have a video about non linear hierarchies.
