There is no better feeling in poker than winning a poker tournament! In this video, PokerCoaching coach Lexy Gavin shares with us how to crush poker tournaments!
It is vitally important you learn the tricks and tips that will help you navigate through huge tournament fields.
Lexy Gavin walks you through the differences between tournament poker & cash game poker, tournament preparation, the different stages of poker tournaments and much more. She also discusses the differing strategies for when you play bounty, satellite and re-entry tournaments.
Constantly being able to change gears depending on your stack depth is crucial in making deep runs in poker tournaments.
When you inevitably make a final table you must switch gears again as ICM pressure and opponent’s stack depths start to play a huge factor in all of your decisions.
It is important that you learn how to use all the tools that you will need to win a poker tournament. You cannot just remain passive. Remember that passive players min cash poker tournaments but aggressive players win poker tournaments!

love the bubble and after the bubble class tyvm
I can't play any better. I get all in best hand and opponent hits 2 outer on river. I flip sets and opponent flops higher sets. My pocket aces ALWAYS get beaten by K10 offsuit when opponent gets 9 8 7 6 run out.
My pocket Ks always get called and beaten by A 6 offsuit.
I'm cursed. Every hand I lose would be on a pros "bad beats" video.
Luck is a real thing and so is bad luck.
Some of us just shouldn't play.
Good stuff Jonathan having Lexy give this lesson on tourneys. Super valuable info.
No wonder I keep busting out as the big stack. I keep pumping the brakes rather than pumping the breaks…
Where can I get the m charts to study ?
I feel like this video contradicts a lot of what you teach in your master class. This is like Negreanu small ball circa 2008.
Great content.
limping in late position isn't a thing
Great presentation Lexy. Keep up the great work.
I liked it very much Lexy great info, all I play is tourneys all day every day. You all know the site with the moto never lose a dime playing poker. I did pay the first month membership fee. Since then, I win enough money each month to cover next three months. I am slowly growing a nice bankroll. Feild have anywhere from 100- 2000 players you can get a lot of practice. for very low cost. I only pay for VIP not diamond. mostly rec players who punt there stacks before firdt break. GL all at the tables
