It can be frustrating trying to make money against tight poker players, especially in a poker game with no ante pre-flop.
It’s important to remember the concepts explained in this video and to remind yourself that it is possible to make money, it just takes some adjustments.
Open up your opening ranges from a lot of positions, especially if you’re not getting 3-bet very often.
If they’re tight post flop you get to bluff more overall, but you do have to be careful going for thin value bets as they will have a stronger range when calling you down.
Remember, some aggressive poker players are tight preflop but play more regularly aggressive post flop, this just means they have a stronger range that you have to adjust your poker strategy around.

Great content as always. 2 more thing to keep in mind (at small stakes). First, in a game with a rake or (worse) a flat drop per street, tight games are often unbeatable because the pots are so small. The rake just kills you when they are taking $5 from a $30 pot. Second, about bluffing overly tight players… a lot of them just won't fold even on really bad runouts. They waited hours for those aces and they are going down with the ship.
