What's your #1 Thing that helps you win more money when you play live poker?
Thank you for the great advice, Evan! I'm gonna take this to the Lac Leamy pool this weekend 😎📈💰
#1 thing that helps me win more live is always removing my ego from the decision making process
Congrats on the concise 10min vid timing 🔥
Good to see you back in the social media streets fella. You were my first "free" coach. I even changed my avatar on PS to "get stacking"….keep going!
you can't be all loosey goosey eating a sandwich
I think Casino Niagara 1/3 is 100 big blinds, max $300 not $500.
What about a video on live tournament strategies?
When focusing on table selection for example if you are given a choice of multiple tables with a seat open besides stack sizes what factors do you look for without actually talking to the players or sitting down at these tables? Do you go by player stereotypes or just choose the tables with the most money on them and if the players are very solid switch tables? Ive also been looking for a good way to take notes while playing live do you have an app for the iPhone that you could recommend?
great video as always – I'm living all these points right now – this is spot on info
Great Video Evan. Very insightful and helpful. I took notes through out it all.
Here is my tip to prepare for live play, i think it helps get the mind better prepared for the game ahead.
-Get a deck of 52 cards
-Deal out NL Hold Em to 8 other players including yourself (as if you are at a table)
-Pretend you are playing against those other players, see just how many different hand types are ahead of your own hand (when you think your hand is strong enough)
-Start counting what cards are beating what on the board, count how many hands you are ahead or behind of, example: 4th nuts, 5th nuts, 2nd nuts etc.
-Focus on only getting your money in good when you have a very high chance you are ahead on the flop or turn or river. Be confident in your decisions.
I agree with a lot of #3 except buy in at higher stakes. Buying in for 100B at 10-20+ says a lot, to be sure, but not necessarily the kind of message you want to be sending in tougher games with pros.
