I LOVE the way it activates my brain.
so many possibilities, so many factors to keep track of, add in the reads, the betting patterns of other players… it is amazing!!! Especially tournament play
Should note that it's great for the brain if you're thinking thoroughly about the game, but if you're just clicking buttons hoping for the next dopamine hit it probably isn't doing your brain any favors.
I'll take poker over crosswords or sudoku any day! 😉
I miss NLHE so much.
I hope to get back into it in the next few years.
True dat

poker after dark intro
In a word yes – I’m actually a chess Grandmaster who also loves playing poker (admittedly quite badly) and anything that gets you thinking has to be a good thing – indeed there have been studies done to show people who play thinking games in their later years significantly reduces their chances of getting Alzheimer’s disease.
I play $2/3 pretty much everyday with a guy Gene @ Seven Mile casino in Chula Vista/San Diego. He's 98 and definitely one of the better players in the games 👍
Poker is good for those who win and bad for those who lose.
Can confirm. I’m 169 years old. Still badposting like a boss.
