Thanks man. I like how u put this. I think it's going to help
Too many fish one is bound to get lucky and bust you .Not too long after that the fish busts out
chris ferguson is a fine example of adjusting play to win
I just played a tournament. Went pretty well. Got many pots. Level 2 i was around 100 k. One guy bluffed his stack 30k with Q6 against my AA. Turn Q. River Q. Lost 1 coinflip that would bring me back to my 100k but again losing 35 k. Then moved 3 times in to aces myself on really bad moments (Bigblinds). Trying to built a monsterstack can be disapointed sometimes, the variance is unbeatable.
If you get aces every hand your probably going to win thr tournament? In my experience the first hand you get dealt aces is probably my last hand in the tournament! 🙂
Hard to play nowadays against all these 20 something year olds geeked up on adderall… PS I called an all in mid stack on bb to chip leaders on the buttons all in… dbag had 6-3o to my A-10o… he was pissed and was like how do I make that call. I wasn’t happy making the call but I knew I had the best hand and said love it
stack size is a sign of prominence
Great video, but something you said made me think- I wonder, if someone actually got pocket aces every hand- would they indeed succeed, or would it almost actually give them a better chance of busting out. Interesting experiment indeed.
The best strategy for playing a final table is to "stop" playing and wait patiently for others to be knocked out. This is assuming that you have the chips to cover blinds or are lucky enough to win an occasional hand.
Based on the result, i feel like this was kind of a punt. But, im gonna analyze it tonight.
Im on the ft last night in 3rd with 5 players left. The dood in last has a lil over 200k, i have 560k. So its a pretty tight ft. Like every1 is close in chips.
I open from the button with 6's on the shortest stacks bb. He has ripped 3 of the last 6 hands. Over opens. Open jamming himself. Ne way, with 6's. I planned to call it off if he jammed. The blinds were 4k 8k. Ne way. He has AKs and binks a king on the flop. Essentially we trade stacks. And bust shortly after with QJ vs 22. Both plays i feel werent bad. I lost 2 massive flips in a spot where had i won that first one. I woulda jumped way into first with 4 players left. Ne advise or critiques are appreciated
