The same misconception is made about artists and musicians. Nobody wants to pay for art cus its fun.
People think because you enjoy the thing you do, its not work and you should be happy you get to do it. They only see the end result… not the time and effort that lead up to it.
Art or Music… or in this video's case, Poker… might be a fun hobby for you, but its my job. There's days I don't wanna be in the studio. Days a band doesn't feel like playing. Days you don't wanna drive across the state or country for a gallery show or gig.
And nobody fell out of their mom awesome at anything. Skill comes with time and knowledge and many many frustrating hours spent sucking at something until you get it.
