Small Pair Versus Nitty Reg at NL10. Your play here?
Hey! Nice video! I have some thoughts about this hand. I totally agree with you if you would be on other positions, but you 3bet from SB vs BTN steal, and I think that you have pretty solid SB vs BTN 3bet stat. So, in this case, when I play against solid players I a have some sort of strategy: I have wider range of 3bet call I think 77+ 98s+, J9s, QTs, KTs, ATs+, A2s-A5s, AKo maybe AJo, KQo. I almost never fold flop Cbet, and float against check on turn, especially on flops like that which really hits top of my range and fold on second barrel if missed totally. Because, SB vs BTN Steal 3bet range will be really much wider, from +/- solid player. So, what do you think about to play X/C on the flop and Cbet Turn, especially when villain has 0% F3bet? Thank you.
Thanks, Nathan! Great spot.
Hi Nathan,
great to see You're continuing to make videos! Was wondering why exactly You would 3bet from the small blind with a small pocket pair. Being oop and missing the flop very often against a player who not only didn't fold to any 3bet, but also didn't fold to any cbet yet, seems pretty ambitious to me at these stakes. Is this really typical or am I missing something crucial here?
Thank You for Your time, very much appreciate it!
