It can be difficult to remember, but there are really just two important concepts to adjusting to straddle games.

When someone straddles under the gun the stacks have basically been cut in half, so if you’re used to playing 100 big blind poker you need to adjust to playing 50 big blind poker when the straddle is on.

Quick poker tip: Study short stack poker play!

The other important tip to remember is regarding raising from a later position, you want to play a little tighter as there is now one other poker hand you have to get your raise through.

Like Phil says, essentially you want to study short stacked poker play and tighten up in late position.
