In my experience the "all in" is more often than not a bluff move, not a reasoned bet. It is especially annoying when someone shoves pre-flop, which usually results in everyone else folding, leading to minimal ROI. Not that it is always out of line, but it is so often that the value of the all-in has been seriously diminished.
