I think you can still manually condition a Hyundai/Kia/Genesis by putting it in "Winter Mode" as you head to the charger.
Good video by the way. I love the Korean EVs but the charging options are a major headache. Maybe soon………………….
Your video is a good demonstration showing that EVs aren't ready for prime-time. I've taken road trips from San Diego to San Francisco many times over the years. I plan my stops on where Starbucks are located. No worries or Apps are needed to find a working gas station. Another way to look at data. My 2018 KIA cost about $20,000 and gets 28 MPG. The average cost of an EV is about $66,000. Making a difference of $46,000. If gas cost $10.00 a gallon I could get, 4600 of gas with that $46,000. At 28 MPG I could drive ~129,000 miles, or ~13 years at 10,000 miles per year. Since I keep my car for 10 years, I'll be ready in 2028 for a new car. Hope by that time EV prices come down and the charging network improves.
