You could also eliminate a bed streak by triple martingaling another bet that is not getting clobbered
I understand that you are using free software to do your demonstrations. Would it be possible for you to find one that has 0 and 00 ? Most sites I know do not play on a European wheel. It makes a significant difference.

How does PLAP make any probable sense? Just because something hasn't hit yet doesn't mean it's due to hit – make sense? Streaks happen more often than chop in roulette so why bet against the streak?

I just started doing this except when there’s not two to bet against I’ll go with 2 dozens, 2 dozens that did not hit last instead of just spinning.
This will make you money faster. One of the things I like about PLAP is that, when a streak of something comes up, you may not be betting against it. For example, if a streak of reds comes up, you may be betting against evens. With this system, if a long streak of anything comes up, it will affect you.
I’ve also used this system a lot over the last few months, also adding in the columns like Silent Tiger.
On the plus side, you don’t have to sit out much especially when you add the columns in as well. You make money quicker than you do with single bets as you can have 3+ bets running at the same time.
On the minus side. It’s martingale so you’ll have more opportunities to lose your bank roll! When you play multiple individual bets it’s much harder to keep track of them.
Having lost to martingale several times I prefer 2 up 1 down systems.
