AT 26:57 the "armorer" erroneously confuses the entry and exit holes, because entry holes=Small and exit holes=Large…..an extremely basic and simple rule of ballistics…oh course us fanatical gun totin' Yanks would know all 'bout that., ay mate ?
I did some research…Turns out it was completely staged, Darren came out with a statement after a ton of controversy.. people in the UK were outraged with the BBC for airing a "deadly stunt" so New Jersey USA state police came forward and said Darren did preform the trick in New Jersey BUT they would not allow him to use ammunition… so Darren wanted to use blanks but the police still said no because blanks can do seriously hurt someone at close range.. so there was no ammunition in the gun. Obviously the guy who "loaded" the gun would have to be in on it.. people have come forward with proof that the guy loading the gun was an actor, he had some actor profiles on the internet looking for acting jobs… I still love Darren, his showmanship and illusions are amazing.
I feel like that he was 100% sure that the bullet is in number 1 and the firing of number 5 against the sack was a trick, only to make the scene more intense for the audience. You can see a grin on he's face when he "changes his mind" before shooting number five. That's a liar's grin when a liar tells a lie and he feels proud because he knows that he won't be caught of the lie. I'm sure Derren is a master at hiding these emotions and micro expressions but he MUST have been nervous at that situation and couldn't hide that grin. It was a situation of life and death any how. Sorry for the grammar mistakes, I'm just a Derren-fan from Finland!
