1. I don't understand why you win 18

2. One chip is $2, you bet 8 chips which is $16. If you win the game, you will lose $16 and win $18 which profit $2 per game.

3. An idea I have – don't ever bet on 0, put 2 on each split in one dozen so 12 in total, then cover the other two dozens with 6 chips each. So in total 24 chips bet, if one of the splits win then 12 profit and if one of the other two dozen wins then only -6 loss. Don't know if there is a name for this strategy already or if im forgetting something
