Sorry if this is a noob question but why does he put the chips between the 2nd and 3rd dozen if he intends for that to be 0/00?

24 + 8 doesn't work trust me i tried. The loss is to big when it comes and it does come! If you want to play high coverage bets just stick to 24 numbers so you make profit when you win. To cover those 8 numbers it eats away all the profit, betting 26 to make 1 dollar is nuts, just divide that 26 over 2 dozens 13 each and you make 13 dollar per win. Now divide that 13 dollar by 2 and press the dozens with 6 dollar and now you make 19 dollar, now press 1 more time and bet 28 per dozen and if you got this win you start over and you made 60 dollar profit in 3 spins and risked only 26 dollar. You can start new now and try again and you have now enough profit to make up for 2 losses and still have profit. Its not hard to win 3 spins in a row when you play 2 dozens or 2 columns.
Had Alex just played $13 on the 2nd, 3rd dozens he'd of profited $91 instead of losing $48.

Riiight… This is not the most optimal system. Because you can win a dollar with 8$ dollar bet with basically same probability. And now you are betting 26$ to win 1$.
