Hey folks, how are you playing poker while sheltering-in-place? As always, feel free to comment all things poker!
Enjoyed all the hands reviewed with your commentary and analysis. Btw, u didn't "fold" AA after QQ folded, you won and didn't show 😉.
You have a special way of story telling that makes me feel very comfortable. Here's my opinion on the first hand you played where a little insight might help:
4h4d: I would check the turn instead of bombing it. When you raise out of the big blind against limpers people won't give you credit for much and most of the time end up calling very light. That guy called off his stack with a straight flush draw, which shows how that goes. I think most of the time the other guy shows up with a middling pair or weak ace and just has you crushed because they don't know how to fold there. His stack was too small to make that play as well.
For the AA hand, if the guy was 3 betting light the entire evening, calling can be argued for. If not, I'd argue to go with a 4-bet to isolate the initial raiser, or 4-bet shove to make your hand look like AK. If you call you're potentially letting too many call and basically gambling that someone will make a play at it. First and foremost realize your equity and second get sneaky is my motto.
We need more vlogs like this!
I knew your fours were good because Im.a man..woman always worry
2d 3d is not playable just a pure steal.
U played aa face up,he was correct.
New Sub. Good stuff. Keep it up. Looking forward to seeing more when the pandemic is over. Come on over and check out my new vlog started just before quarantine 🤗
You did play the hand (AA) wrong…lulz….calling a 3bet oop with next to act is also strong, so just put in the 4bet (min raise even). If you are closing the action heads-up you can just call. But he also played his QQ wrong. Way too exploitable fold. You could have 88s-JJs as played. Now you know he is weak tight and will fold when he gets check raised.
