Learn Texas Holdem Video Source & Info:
Texas hold’em is a variation of poker. There are also many other variations of poker including: Seven Card Stud, Omaha, Draw Poker, Razz, plus many more … As a beginner all you need to know in today’s poker world is Texas hold’em and Omaha. These are the two most popular poker games in the world by far.
In Texas Hold’em, you’re dealt two cards and there are five community cards. You make the best five-card hand possible of the seven cards available (two hole cards + five community cards).
Omaha is similar, but you get four hole cards and can only use two of those cards. You’re still making the best five-card hand of the seven cards available. You will see a lot more action in Omaha and you usually want to be drawing to the nuts (the best possible hand).
If you’re new to the game of poker, then I highly recommend beginning with the Texas Hold’em variation. It’s a slower-paced game with more analysis, which will give you more time to learn and improve your skills.
Whether you’re playing Texas Hold’em or Omaha, poker is a challenging game that will certainly test your mental sharpness. It will also supply you with plenty of adrenaline rushes and, when played well, provide you with job-quitting wealth.
Not a bad bunch of rewards, right?
