I don't get the KJo raise multiway on the turn. Could you explain your thought process?
Around 12:50, I don't understand why you are check raising out of position multi way with KJo. I think you basically put yourself in a way ahead way behind situation. When you think about it what hands are calling your raise there? I would really like to see a video of you breaking down this particular hand. I think you have his over all turn bet range crushed and he folds all worse and only continues with better when you check raise him.
Thanks for the great videos either way I really enjoy them.
3:30 I definitely prefer a check back on this flop. All of the hands that will call the bet have you crushed. Even something as bad as Th9s is still has you crushed. You're like a 3:1 dog to even unmade hands, much less hands that actually hit the flop. What are you trying to fold out with a bet? You said yourself you expect to get floated a lot. As played, I like your reasoning for the bet on the turn.
7:05 Do you have a check/jam range on this turn? Thinking about the hand, I don't think I would ever do it for value or as a bluff, so basically, I have no range for this type of play. It would look really odd to 3 bet pre, cbet the flop, and c/r all in on the turn.
The notes taken on player at 25:00 were that he raised the flop with NFD. If you scroll back to 23:45 he had Ah Qd . only backdoor diamond and two overs.
Repping the nuts would have been good at 7:30. Have you read Let There Be Range? Obviously there's hands you'd rather bluff with, but I feel like mid pairs were in villains range there so it might have been a good fold after all
Wanna play heads up with me on Pokerstars home games? We can play for like $5 and ship it over pay pal. I think it would make us both better players, and would be a lot of fun. There is also no rake which is cool. As time goes by and we trust each other more, of course we can start doing slightly higher buy ins like 10 or 20. We can also multi table. I don't expect to have a huge edge over you, but getting some heads up exp against a good player seems pretty GTO.
I like the raise at 12:24. You rep air nicely.
As a request, can you play 100 nl zone, or 50 nl zone?
the 34s hand why are you betting turn? You have SDV and a great hand to bluff catch his bet on brick rivers i give the free card there. You are never folding out better and yes you might get hands with some equity to fold but ultimately i think you make more money checking back and calling river.
