  1. On the turn, if villain had not led for $35 and had checked instead, what would you do with the coordinating card- check or bet, and if so bet how much? Are you betting here with a view to check-fold to a raise or betting to get it with a check raise?

  2. Villain should be check-raising this flop. He's going to have a bunch of draws, and in order to play those profitably, sometimes he needs to have a monster. A set of tens is a monster. Therefore he might lose value this hand by taking an aggressive line, but he needs to protect his checking range. That's my opinion.

  3. the real lesson here is to remember that if that guy backs back, he will be tilting hard after that hand πŸ™‚

  4. That hand was gonna play out how it did, if the set of 10’s jams AA calls, it’s just a cooler

  5. I guess the idea here is that if your opponent has two pair he might call and you have that beat. But how likely is he to call with those hands? From the betting it seems like you probably have a set or two high pair. Yes you might be bluffing, but a misses straight or flush draw with a follow up bluff doesn't seem likely given your bet before the flop. I am a small time player and I don't have the cred to disagree with Torelli but I am not betting on the river with this hand. A whole lot of the time villain is not calling no matter what I do A lot of the time he has a straight and only a mall amount of the time does he have a hand that he calls with that I will beat. I 'm going to play the end of the video now and see what happened.. ETA: Well that didn't work out for me in this hand. I should have thrown in the possibility of him calling with trips in addition to two pair. I wonder what percentage of players would have called with trip tens in that spot.

  6. i would love for you to analyse the and from the "villain" perspective… i feel he played it very well
