Texas Holdem Strategy Video Source & Information:
In this hand we flop top pair medium kicker and turn massive equity. However our opponent raises and we have to wonder if all our outs are clean and if we have the price to call.

Gnarly fold!
one of the worst folds ive heard of. Just dont understand why caller bets almost pot to only fold to a raise. You wanna make money right?
Folddd????? Really? How? I'm so lost. 3 moves. Fold, call, jam. Only one of them makes you go WTF????
Its actually a very good point, that we should not bet the turn, just because we picked up draws, when we already have a good pair. Yes we picked up a bunch of outs, but the thing is, if we are ahead, we did not need outs, and if we are behind, we are still behind, and a turn bet is never going to get him to fold a better hand. So yeah just check-call the turn and hope to hit the jackpot on the river.
This was a great episode, bart! In depth analyze on every street and a look into your table thought process. I Appreciate the material, this is why I recently subscribed to clp
Thank you for the awesome content!
Excellent analysis, but you're missing two combos of Q9s that also make sense for villain. We have decent equity against those too, so it adds to the reasons for calling the turn getting over 2 to 1 odds.
Monster under the bed syndrome. This is a slam dunk call.
I'm thinking Villian had K,J or pocket 9s, either way I'm calling with that hand.
Wtf he actually folded?
