Im not a huge fan of your min raise .10 pref-flop. Maybe that can save you some money but makes you lose a lot on your good hands, cause that just looks so weak to your opponents. It's what happened with your Kings against his 9's (0:30). He shoved all-in because you just appeared really weak, forcing you to commit your whole stack when you didn't especially want to push it that far that soon. Same thing for AJs in position, earlier. I really don't see what you expect to gain with that new play.
Thanks for watching, and I would love to hear about the spots you saw I was misplaying, I am always trying to improve my game.
I talk about it a bit in a new article on my website – unexceptionalrounder (link in description) but it essentially gives you great odds on a steal and keeps pots smaller with a weaker range, also make calling 3-bets easier.
Maybe it makes sense statistically speaking, but considering table image it seems a bit of a dangerous play and it's almost an invitation to raise. Still not convinced, but maybe that's worth a try… Keep on grinding !
Yeah try it out, you will be surprised by how often it works.
Definitely sub
Thanks for watching and for the sub!
Just finishing your most recent.. I started playing poker in 2003 and haven't had a chance to play in the last couple of years as other things take precedent.
I immensely enjoy live games, but can't always make it to a home game or a casino. Do you honestly believe online play has benefits that are ultimately (definitely) profitable, or do you just enjoy playing?
I have also joined your forum, and recommend it for all others interested in joining a small community.
Online poker still has plenty of money in it. Live games do also though. It is really about what you enjoy, I wish I had a casino or card room to play at. I don't though so I stick to online. You can probably make more money on a smaller bankroll online, and the variance is much better, because you can play more hands.
