looks like 10nl is just as fishy/bizarre as 5nl!
I expected you to get stacked on that hand and was thinking TPGK is not enough hand to stack off with. figured he "had" to have a flush or a set.
wrong, as usual.
or at least this time!
Yeah, by no means was my play necessarily correct just because I won the hand.
Good video, I play this stake on Zone (actually looking over my HH's I was in this player pool with you) so I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos!
Glad to hear you enjoy the videos, thanks for watching!
after you called the turn and said "this is really a bizarre hand, I'm not 100% sure what's going on" I said (out loud!) "you're calling off your stack with top pair, *that's* what's going on!"
the problem is trying to guess what his bets mean when we have no idea if he is a fish, a recreational player or a reg.
on the BTN, he flats a potsized raise from UTG
on the flop he bets 1.35x pot when checked to
on turn, FD comes in & he bets pot when checked to
on river shoves for 70% pot
to continue, there are not a lot of value hands that make much sense.
AcKc "should" raise pre-flop
22 & 88 "should" play slower on flop and might slow down when flush hits on turn
Ac2c ? Kc2c ? for flopped pair w/ nut/strong FD on flop ?
J8s for flopped two pair trying to close out flush draws?
AJs or AJo w/ Ac ?
w/ his actual hand, his pre-flop call is horrible unless his plan is "hit flop hard or bluff multiple streets"
but then he gets picks up 2nd pair on river & bets again!
Can anyone tell me how to download the HH's from bovada into poker tracker. What folder on my comp are the HH's in?
In hand No. 40 (QcJs, the crazy hand) what would you say your calling frequency is versus unknowns on that river? I tried to wrap my head around the hand and all I really feel secure in saying is: Folding 100% or calling 100% in that situation is -EV. What is your gut feeling? Something like 1/4?
How long have you been practicing, and analyzing your play to get better? I am a new player, and your talking a lot about how it is easy to take money from low stake players. But as a I watched your videos you often have a minus, instead of plus. Which is kinda confusing me, since a practiced guy like you most often should get a plus, right?
