Full list of topics discussed in this poker training video include
-Why rather than relying on GTO, you should base your strategies on population tendencies…
-Why you should always raise people when your opponents are opening more than 20% of the hands
-People open more hands these days because they’re bored and craving stimulation… so play back at em
-Why the worst regular in the world would not lose money if they only played hands in position against opponents who are playing more than 20% of poker hands
-The problem if someone is opening 20% of hands… people are afraid to get their money in early in MTTs
-Why when they flat you’re 3-bet out of position, you’ll win the pot on almost every board without 2 cards above a 9 (and the analytical data to back it up!)
-How to Bring your 3-bet % up from 6% to 12%, 15%, 18%… and watch your profits soar
-What hands to look for in your opponents open range to target them effectively. Easier than you think.
-Why if people aren’t 3-betting enough you can open tons of garbage
-Why you don’t need to defend vs 3-bets out of position unless you’re Doug Polk or Daniel Negreanu
-Why calling 3-bets out of position is a sucker play, and how seriously hard it is to turn a profit after it
-Why stack protection in tournaments is essential to boosting your long run profit… everytime you fold + someone else busts your chips gain value, everytime you lose a tool due to a short stack your ROI drops
-Accepting a loss with a limited downside is more important than opening up to unknown potential loss

  1. Take away – learn to target effectively. Look for opponents you can get oop that are opening with suited gappers and unsuited aces because of all of the additional weak combo's they add to their range that most opponents will either fold to your 3-bet or flat capping their range. Even if an A flops on the board their range is so wide now can make a small bet and only has to work 25% of the time. Nice!

  2. Constructive Suggestion: Show only 1 bullet point per page. Why show 1/2 screen pic of a glove when no one can see the bullet points? Why have even have 'em? Use software that you can increase the size of your vid to show the hands. It would improve the overall presentation. Don't settle for just showing the power point presentation. Only takes another cpl of minutes to vastly improve the overall quality.

  3. On the "what's your move here?" segments. I love the idea but describe the situation… please. Tell us the blinds, stacks, bets. Plus, table needs to be re-sized. C'mon, assassinato…. You're smart but these vids are annoying…… just sayin'….

  4. As a slightly newer player this probably went over my head in the video, but assuming many of your opponents are opening 20% or more hands, what should my 3 bet range be in position, from the button/cutoff/HJ. Thanks!
