I stopped watching after 11mins…After hearing your expected callers vs bet sizing expectations (raise 10 get one caller) I can only assume that you have not played any 1/2, 1/3 or 2/5 live cash games in the last 5 years. I guess selling webinars and poker strategy pamphlets online is easier and pays better to. I do not however take issue with your views on expected value vs one caller as opposed to ev vs mulltiple callers. i just dont like being mislead, and if you are not playing live cash my time will be better spent listening to someone who is.

I guess I'm lucky. I play 2x a week. 1$/2$ no limit at different places. Neither place has a rake at all!
Is a lot easier to bluff 2 players than 5…
2 to 1 pot odds not really that great. One guy would raise to 40 on premium hands and occasionally someone would play.
To win 3 dollars with pocket aces is useless
This is a 3yr old video and decent advice on bet sizing but nowadays people at 1/3 game simply don't give a love about preflop sizes.. Just last week I was playing 1/3, UTG bets $15, button calls so does SB. I am the BB and look down at AA.. I 3-bet to $45, UTG quickly 4-bets to $145.. Button and SB fold and when you are holding the rockets, its always good to see a 4-bet.. I had him covered as I was sitting with $600 and he had about $550. I shoved and he snap called.. I clearly knew I was up against KK.. Flop JKJ.. Disaster.. Turn 2 and river 7.. I turned over my AA and said I guess you win with your KK.. He turns over 22.. FML
None of this takes into account that 1/2 players don’t have a range or know what s range is. They call because they call, that’s it. If you raise to $10 or less in 1/2 and get one caller, the other players range is literally every single hand. All 169 combinations. This is ridiculous and way overthought.
Not to mention the rake which takes $200 an hour, a full buy in, off the table
I am a 65 year old nit that became a student of the game as i watched moneymaker win the main event. Lot of reading, study , and play. Biggest leak is im too tight but still returns modest profit in the 1 3 games i play. Have followed numerous vlogs but having discovered yours; i am greatly enlightened and now more productive. Thank you for your efforts and contributions! By FAR the best instruction and insight ive seen. Thank you for your help! Amazing insightful lessons without the fluff that others extend. Really excited to see your future contributions! Best wishes
raise small, let them 3 bet you, play appropriately?
