Detroit Poker Vlog #54
I offer poker coaching for $1/$2 and $1/$3 no limit holdem players who are trying to become profitable and develop a poker thought process! One on one poker strategy coaching sessions on Skype (or even a phone conversation), where we go over poker hands together.
I coach players who take notes on the poker hands they played, and I also have 1 on 1 courses prepared where I provide the poker hands for discussion, hands from my students and myself.
Email coaching inquiries to livepokerplayer8@gmail.com or visit the Detroit Poker website at detroitpoker.net for more information and pricing

I wrote a book! "The Poker Mind"
https://amzn.to/335sLDQ
It's written for live poker players by a live poker player!
Great hand examples to illustrate the difference. I’m a regular $1-$2 and sometimes $2-$5 player at Foxwoods, and switching between the two can be dangerous for exactly the reason you described which is the need to realize they are different games filled with different players usually and dramatic adjustments must be made to your own game to navigate each.
Coffee junkie Brian….
So from what I can gather from this video since I am usually at $2/$5 is that players in $2/$5 are more aggressive with hands that are borderline garbage™️ and the best way to counteract that is to tighten up? Or should you not hesitate to jam all-in pre with Jacks against these loose players?
good stuff..
175 is to small
There are no OMC in 2/5 bc they will bleed out waiting for the nuts. You can’t survive at 2-5 playing tight. That’s why they stick with 1-2.
The difference between 1/2 and 2/5 is… There are less bad smelling people playing 2/5 than there are playing 1/2. "Bad B O to the left of me. No Shower to the right, here I am. Stuck in the middle with you!"
When you have 9-3 go ALL IN!!. I win every time I never lose. as soon as you
see 9-3 move ALL IN. you win every time even if they call.
This guy looks like he's going to talk himself to sleep. like blah blah blah. zZzZ blah blah blah 💤😴 😂
