Thanks for your post. So I'm interested in building a bankroll, and the suggestion is a min buy in of 100 times the big blind of whatever limit you're attempting to start with. Realistically, how many tables should one play at once to make a steady "increase"/"decrease" in the effort of building? If I start at .01/.02 and am trying to build to .05/.10, realistically what sort of time frame could I be looking at? I know it is dependent on a series of factors, but any recs are appreciated. Thanks
it depends on many factors.i started with 02/04 not with 01/02 and i jumped from 02/04 to 05/10 very fast like in a week because at that limits players r making a lot of mistakes. The reason why i jumped so fast its because i played 6-12 tables per session and around 4-5 h every day.And when i jumped to 10/25 and 25/50 i played 4 or 6 tables. So u know better what u can do.I recommend you to start with 4 tables if u r not used with 8 tables or something like that.
Thanks brother
At one point u talked about $30/hr+ multi-tabling NL20 which is very wrong.
24 tables x 75hands/hr = 1800 hands/hr
With a 2bb/100 win rate (which is pushing it for 24 tabling)
Your only making $7.20/hr adding in rakeback / bonuses that only adds $1 to $3 /hr.
Still a minimum wage job in most places
Yeah I was talking like max theoretical. And I was probably a little high even so, but i do think you could grind 8 tables of 6-max and bring in over $20/hour with rakeback. Because I think a optimal player could make 20 big blinds/100 hands at these low stakes. You won't ever see it though because players that good move up.
100 buy ins is very excessive unless you are playing professionally and even then that shouldn't be on a poker site. I think 15-20 buy ins is fine when moving through micro-stakes, if you bust out just re-load, once the bankroll is more important to you start working up towards 30-40 at the regular level you decided to play at. Start with 2 tables and if you are winning after 2-3K hands try 4 tables, play 10-20K hands and go from there.
What is the program called that fills the whole screen tired of overlapping my tables when i play 4 at a time.
